The May/June issue has been turned over to the printer. It should start appearing in mailboxes around May 7th. If you don’t receive your copy by May 30th, call us and we will mail you a replacement copy.

Labors of Love canvases, The Tudors, are featured on the cover. In this issue we are presenting Henry VIII and his first wife Catherine of Aragon with stitch guides by the very talented Anne Connerton and an introduction to each character by my best friend, Joanne Colandrea. We will be publishing the stitch guides for seven pieces in the series, Henry VIII and his six wives.

We will be finishing the three part series The Winfields in Winter, designed by Curtis Boehringer. The finished canvas is on the back cover. This three part series with a stitch guide by Susan Portra has been a lot of fun to stitch. Yes, your’s truly stitched this one with a little help from my trusty side-kick Vicky De Angelis. Vicky started the stitching while I was traveling in China. She stitched the snowman with his beaded heart and eyes. Vicky loves beading on canvas and I was thrilled that she did this part. She is a much better beader than I am.

There are several other projects in this issue that I am sure will make your fingers itch to stitch them. I won’t ruin the surprise because I understand that many of you rate the day that the magazine arrives in your mailboxes as a five star day and squirrel away into your stitching nests to read it cover to cover.

I hope you enjoy this issue as much as we enjoyed bringing it to you. Now I have to get busy working on the July/August issue!
