Did you
know that there is a commercial magazine dedicated solely to the art of
needlepoint?
Since 1999, needlepoint now has been stirring up excitement and making a strong impact on the needlework world! We present a magazine that educates, inspires and sometimes amuses us...a magazine that is available to everyone who loves to stitch...a magazine that you can buy in your local needlework shop as well as receive by subscription...and a magazine that we hope will help to advance needlepoint to an art form. We offer one and two year subscriptions, gift subscriptions and back issues, as well as packets for shop owners’ sales and media packets for potential advertisers. Give us a look and we think you’ll be glad you did... from your creative heart to the tips of your stitching fingers. Mission Statement: The mission of needlepoint now is to create an educational journal that will present needlework as an art form and will be readily available to everyone. We will offer projects with instructions, features for continuing education, articles on personalities, technique, current events and other topics that will enhance knowledge of this art. We will present articles that strive to lift the reader’s aspiration to the highest level of unity, understanding and integrity of the needleart world. The staff of needlepoint now considers copyright infringement to be an important problem in this world. In conjunction with the staff of Booth/Wright, a law firm specializing in intellectual property law, we are proud to present "Copyright Law and the Stitcher," a plain-English explanation of the issues. |
