Mission Statement:

The mission of needlepoint now is to create an educational journal that will present needlework as an art form and will be readily available to everyone. We will offer projects with instructions, features for continuing education, articles on personalities, technique, current events and other topics that will enhance knowledge of this art. We will present articles that strive to lift the reader’s aspiration to the highest level of unity, understanding and integrity of the needleart world.

The staff of needlepoint now considers copyright infringement to be an important problem in this world. In conjunction with the staff of Booth/Wright, a law firm specializing in intellectual property law, we are proud to present "Copyright Law and the Stitcher," a plain-English explanation of the issues.
