Matthew J. Booth is the managing partner at Booth/Wright. In his 13 years of practice he has actively represented and advised a number of artists, authors, designers and musicians regarding their rights in their works both in the U.S. and internationally.


Ann Caswell has been teaching needlework since 1979. She specializes in threads, working with over 150 different types. Ann has been involved in needlework on many levels and her designs have appeared in books and magazines. She has experience in retail and wholesale and has taught for needlework shops, companies, and guilds across North America and England, including Callaway Gardens and NAN at the Greenbrier and The Homestead. Ann was Shop Manager for the American Needlepoint Guild, Inc. from 1986 to 1991, after which she became national president of ANG from 1994 to 1996. She was also on ANG's Correspondence Course Faculty from 1992-2000. Ann was Design Coordinator for Metallic Thread Embroidery A practical guide to stitching creatively with metallic threads, by Jacqueline Friedman Kreinik, published by David & Charles. She is currently working as Project Designer on a book for Interweave Press scheduled for release April 2001.


Mary Ann Jones is a long-time stitcher and the firm administrator at Booth/Wright, a law firm that specializes in developing and protecting intellectual property, including patents, trademarks and copyrights. She has found educating stitchers and designers about the ins and outs of copyright law to be a perfect marriage of her profession and her passion.


Joyce Lukomski holds Teacher Certification Levels I and II from the Valentine Museum (now NAN) and has taught needlework nationally for the past twenty-five years. She is the previous editor of Needlepoint Now and has enjoyed bringing information to the stitching public.

 


Anthony Minieri was formerly educated at the Stevens Institute of Technology and is affiliated with ANG, NETA, EGA and NAN. His needlework education includes the National Seminar, Callaway School of Needlearts, ANG and EGA workshops and Level 1 Certification (NAN). He has taught at Callaway for several years, TNNA, ANG and EGA chapters, New England Regional (1994), Canadian National (1995) and at local shops. His accomplishments include commercial designs through Brite Ideas and for Lois Caron and production of stitch and thread guides for Sunrunner and Renaissance Designs.


Michele Roberts specializes in historical research, techniques, and goldwork. Embroidering. She has done ecclesiastical commissions and studied abroad. Michele is an ANG Master Teacher and a Life Friend of the Royal School of Needlework.


Jody Williamson-Valentine is enjoying a lifetime career inthe arts. A Broadway singing contract was left behind to pursue the drawing board. She currently specializes in illustration, graphic, and canvas art, along with textile and needlepoint design.

A former Graphic Design Consultant and marketing specialist for R.A. Williamson, Dimensional Communications and W.A. Displays, Rochester, NY, she was instrumental in the development and execution of many graphics, models, covers and layouts upon customer requests. As owner of her own companies, her expansive talents have developed over 600 textile needlepoint designs with distribution wholesale and retail sales along with traveling monthly trunk shows across the entire United States.

Jody creates the entire graphic and photography art for both companies, which are featured in numerous trade and national magazines. As a past textile instructor she developed curriculum and taught courses on needlepoint technique, canvas painting and advanced application for almost 20 years at The Rochester Museum and Science Center. Jody is a Charter featured writer for Needlepoint Now Magazine since the Premier Issue in 1999.
