Ribbon Candy

Editor’s note: Ribbon candy was a favorite holiday treat at my house when I was young. I hadn’t seen the candies in years before I walked into Melissa Shirley’s booth at market and saw her rendition of this classic confection. When Melissa offered to share her candy with us I couldn’t refuse.

The canvases come in both Christmas and Halloween designs and are available at most needlepoint shops. They are quick to stitch, fun to embellish and easy to put together. They make wonderful gifts for family and friends. Hang them on a tree or use them to embellish a beautifully wrapped gift. These sweet little confections are sure to please.
