Nearly 40 years ago Libby Sturdy entered the needlepoint design world, first as a production painter and then as a custom designer for several Chicago area shops. She designed pieces for customers and churches, including wedding kneelers for the U.S. Airforce Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

As of July-August 2009 back issues of Needlepoint Now are available at a cost of $7.00 per copy, plus shipping and handling. All preceding back issues are $6.00 per copy, plus shipping and handling.
