Brenda Hart is the author of Favorite Stitches, Favorite Stitches II, Stitches forthe Millennium, It’s In The Bag, and A Banner Year as well as numerous stitchguides. She started her needlepoint journey in the early ‘80s with, like many of us, the basketweave stitch. With the discovery of pattern stitches a whole newworld opened to her, and consequently through teaching she has opened the world of canvas embellishment to many of her students.


Brenda calls Tucson home. She canbe found at The West, a not-for-profit needlework and gift store, when she isn’t traveling around the country teaching at various shops or for guilds.

Brenda’s knowledge of stitches andher knack for selecting just the rightstitches and threads for every design elementplaces her among elites of the needlepoint world.
