Elegant Heirloom Angels

Just two weeks until Christmas! The grandchildren’s needlepoint stockings are hung by the chimney and the last creche figures are home from the finisher. You are just about to relax when your best stitching friend accidentally mentions she can not wait for you to see what she has stitched for you for Christmas. Instant panic! There is no time for another trip to the needlework shop, Not to panic! These two little angels, each 6 inches tall, both whipped up in two weeks total, make a charming gift for your friend or maybe one for each of you. I used threads that you might have in your stash (DMC floss, Kreinik metallics) with just a touch of Thread Gatherer’s Silk’n Colors on Laurel and Deanna. While I have listed the materials used for the models, you may change colors based on what you have available or the recipient’s favorite colors.
