Designer Meredith Barnhill starts out sharing helpful hints to help you gain expertise in stitching this technique. She also offers a choice of shapes that all lend themselves to designs for metal threads. We invite you to read the article, practice the stitches to learn the technique and then use the shapes offered to draw a pattern that is pleasing to you. When you have completed your design, be sure to send us a great photo of it and a little information about your working it.
