In our September/October 2003 issue we featured the first project from a new series of gift boxes designed by Ro Pace. At that time Ro stated: "I thought I would give a gift of something of myself for each of my daughters and granddaughters. I decided to design a box for each one and make it personal. Then I thought that maybe other stitchers needed a gift for someone special and would like to stitch one or two, so I decided to send them to needlepoint now. I encourage you to make the ones you stitch your own by selecting canvas size, thread types and colors that make your heart happy."
