| Ann Caswell has been teaching needlework since 1979. She specializes in threads, working with over 150 different types. Ann has been involved in needlework on many levels and her designs have appeared in books and magazines. She has experience in retail and wholesale and has taught for needlework shops, companies, and guilds across North America and England, including Callaway Gardens and NAN at the Greenbrier and The Homestead. Ann was Shop Manager for the American Needlepoint Guild, Inc. from 1986 to 1991, after which she became national president of ANG from 1994 to 1996. She was also on ANG's Correspondence Course Faculty from 1992-2000. Ann was Design Coordinator for Metallic Thread Embroidery A practical guide to stitching creatively with metallic threads, by Jacqueline Friedman Kreinik, published by David & Charles. She is currently working as Project Designer on a book for Interweave Press scheduled for release April 2001. |
